Emergency dash: Mornington student rushed to hospital

A MORNINGTON Secondary College student was rushed to hospital by air ambulance in a serious condition today.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the boy had been knocked unconscious.

‘‘He was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition,’’ she said.

The first crew on the scene arrived just after 2pm followed by intensive care paramedics six minutes later.

The boy is believed to be a year 10 student.

No further details were available and immediate comment was unavailable from the school.
