Rather, it's on roller skates, a talent now witnessed and enjoyed by thousands of viewers of top-rating television show Australia's Got Talent.

Lawrence-Gray, 17, of Mornington, is one of several top roller skating performers in the group called Rolling Entertainment which has reached the show's grand final.

The final, which has $250,000 in prize money, will be shot this week before going to air next Tuesday night.

For Lawrence-Gray, who has been roller skating since she was seven, being a member of the group and taking part in the show is one of the highlights of a roller skating career which has already seen her skate for Australia.

Her mother Dreena said her daughter had been overjoyed to be chosen as one of the dancers for the group by well known roller skaters Andy and Chantelle Carroll. Rolling Entertainment also includes help from former world champion Jayson Sutcliffe of Dandenong and dancers from as far apart as Lara and Narre Warren.

"I skated when I was younger and I took Rijana along when she was about seven. She took to it straight away and has gone further and further," Ms Lawrence said.

"She finished third in the freeskating nationals for two years in a row and last year skated for Australia in the precision team for Australia at the Oceania international event held in Dandenong.

"This year she has concentrated on Rolling Entertainment.

"She is also learning to teach and hopes to be able to bring other skaters on."
