TIPS picked up by Mike Barber at a Peninsula Surfriders Club high-performance training camp are likely to help him out at this weekend's Volcom Stone's Cuttlefish contest at Gunnamatta. Registration is at 7am and the contest starts with the 14 under groms division at 7.30am.

Spots in all divisions (14 and under groms, 15-17 juniors, girls and pro-am) are limited and filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants aged under 18 need a parent's signature. Finalists will qualify for the Australian VQS championships at Manly, Sydney, in April. Junior and pro-am winners will be flown to California to represent Australia and New Zealand for a US$100,000 cash purse.
