SKYE will play Tyabb, and Flinders and Baden Powell will go head to head in the Sub-District finals starting this weekend.
There was some daylight between Skye, Flinders and Baden Powell and the rest of the competition, and the premier will come from these three sides.
While results of the games on Saturday would not have had a large bearing on the final set-up, they did hold some interest.
Skye was taking on Baden Powell and it would have been interesting to see this game go the distance. Baden Powell was 4-161 when the game was called off with five overs to bat.
Alan Cross opened with 39 and Rhys Elmi made it two big innings on the trot with 72, following up his 85 from the week before. Elia Carter was also solid for the Braves with an unbeaten 29. Jamie Smith was the pick of the bowlers for Skye with 2-48.
Carrum Downs was bowled out for 124 against Flinders, Gavin Symes claiming 4-26 and Shane Beggs 2-3. Flinders was 1-1 in reply when the rains came.
Dromana scored 136 against Pearcedale, Jason Clark top-scoring with 74 and Scott Didcock getting 25.
Tyabb's Craig Conlan scored 110 on Saturday against Tootgarook.
Conlan has had an interrupted season, missing rounds two, three and four and then missing rounds eight and nine. He's scored 227 runs at 37.8 and will be important for the Yabbies in the finals.
Rick Gough was also solid with the willow with 69, Luke Rus scored 60 and Jason Ferns an unbeaten 33. The Yabbies were a massive 5-324 when rain stopped play.
