SOUTHERN Peninsula Sharks have moved into the top six after two consecutive wins in the Big V division 1 basketball competition.
The Sharks easily accounted for Werribee 110-74, with Carl Arts shooting 26 points and Michael De Luca 17. The week before, the Sharks knocked off championship contenders Sherbrook 115-91 and Arts was in incendiary form shooting 34 points from 37 minutes of court time.
The Sharks' division 2 women's side was defeated by Keilor 54-65.
In the Big V division 3, Mornington lost a nailbiter against Keysborough 97-98 at Springers Leisure Centre on Saturday, with Marcus Robinson shooting 36 for Mornington who are now eight wins from 14 games.
Mornington's division 3 women remain on top after defeating La Trobe University 63-49.
