The mayhem of Spin returns

20 Jan, 2010 11:44 AM
ONCE the most dominant combo in our locale, the infamous boys from Spin reunite for one night only on Australia Day eve next Monday at Flanagan's in Frankston.

"It's a one-off return to our legendary mayhem," said front man Simon Mills.

Spin is well known to clubbers and were often nick-named the 'Sambucca Brothers'.

The band originated from duo Taylor & Dean in the mid-90s when they gigged at The Gallery and The Saloon Bar, following that with lengthy residencies at Daveys, Wild Bill's, The Somie, four years of Sundays at The Cove and the Pelly Bar's iconic Saturday night for a record-setting eight years.

"We were notorious; anything could happen and often did.

"All past members including Jason Taylor, Jason Dean, Simon Mills, Murph, Stitch, Scotty, Hodge, Dale and Mitch will be on board at some stage during the night," he said.
