24 Feb, 2010 12:00 AM
POLICE have issued a warning about the sale of stolen mobile phones in the wake of a burglary at a Somerville mobile phone retailer.

About 30 phones and two laptop computers worth a total of about $12,000 were stolen from the Phone Guys store in Somerville's Centro shopping centre earlier this month. Detective Leading Senior Constable Nick Sweetman said

anyone offering a mobile phone for sale should be aware of the theft

and that police would be able to track any stolen phone that was activated.

Stolen phones included brands such as Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Ericsson, Sony and LG.

Information to Hastings CIU on 59707850.
