FIREWORKS at Rye and Mornington provided a perfect, glowing end to the Mornington Peninsula's Australia Day celebrations.
Sponsored by Fairfax Community Network, publisher of The Mail, the two displays lit up the bayside towns and bathed upturned faces in a series of varying colours from blue to green, pink and white.
The pyrotechnic displays followed celebrations across the length and breadth of the peninsula.
