Mounties brace for semi-finals

MT Eliza Cricket Club has seven of eight senior sides in the MPCA finals this weekend.

Langwarrin will also be hoping for a share of silverware with five of its nine teams playing finals.

In the semi-finals on Saturday and Sunday, the top grades will play 75 overs a day. Lower grades are set to battle it out in 70-overs a day games or one-day grand final matches of 40 overs each.

The other grand finals starting the following weekend for top grades will be 113 overs for each team and played over Saturday, Sunday and the following Sunday. Lower grades take to the field for 90-over games.
