Briars gets restoration grant

01 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
The Briars homestead in Mt Martha has received a $20,000 grant for conservation works.

Restoration involves repairs to the laundry, dairy and apple store of one of the earliest pastoral properties on the Mornington Peninsula.

The works include replacement of gutters and downpipes, repointing and removing salt-affected brickwork, excavating ground levels, timber repairs and repainting.
